The
Lola T70 Mk3B was the final development of the T-70 series. It was
a “customer” racing car, for the 1969 season, and used
by many private teams at the time. They included, Sid Taylor Racing,
Jo Bonnier Racing, Scuderia Filipinetti, and several others.
The most notable success was victory in the 1969 Daytona 24 hours,
by the Sunoco car entered by Roger Penske.
The majority of the cars were powered by a 5 litre Chevrolet V-8
engine.
Many examples are still racing today in Historic racing events around
the world, and we are building models for some of the present owners
of the cars as they appear today. |
